I read about Westgate's ollie in Thrasher on the corresponding tour article ages ago. Apparently he only rides regular wheels and won't resort to cruiser wheels. This is probably as close as I'm going to get to watching the video.
Somehow Rip N Dip is still making enough cash to keep running two page color ads in Thrasher. CCS also did a World Industries reissue.
Spring skating is fine. I dunno. I don't like how we get cold air and winds off a frozen lake. I hate having to rush after work when we lose the daylight so getting the later sunsets are a bonus. I've only skated my current board 32 times and it is looking beat. It's all been winter sessions that were not long at all and I don't do anything remotely gnarly, but it has somehow worn out. I need new wheels, too. It doesn't feel like the board should be done so I'm reluctant to replace it, even if it would be an improvement.
I hate how fractured and useless social media has become in the last few months.
