In the old days, you got retired. Nowadays it is wide open. That's maybe a good thing.
John's interview was good and he has a sound plan. He took the high road and declined to cash some easy checks. I think Leo Romero has said he has wanted to retire so others can get a slice of the small pie of the money in skateboarding.
Peter Raffin is the construction guy. Creature turned him pro within the last year or two.
Didn't Stella sustain a serious injury that soured her on skating? That totally makes sense why she stepped out of the spotlight.
I really can't imagine traveling ever again. That said, I did take a trip to Ottawa at the start of February. We stayed in a hotel that had essentially a full kitchen. It was great. We also took the train to get there. It was super mellow. Granted it ran smoothly and it wasn't a long ride, but it was so much better than driving or flying.
What a difference four days makes in the basketball season.
