Great discussion and excellent guest this week.
Loved the SGV talk, but Chaffey is in the I.E. (the High School is in Ontario and College in Rancho Cucamonga).
Bassett is an unincorporated zone next to La Puente. Given the I.E. J.P. Jadeed shout out, and Jose repping this area, I was surprised to not hear Basset’s finest Justin Guillen’s name mentioned.

This was a fascinating episode. I like the discussion of places, spaces, and spots.
Patrick is right. We need the 2024 version of Slap. Or maybe not. Sometimes things only worked in a specific time and place. It sucks that Slap might not work today. Heck, even a Transworld Stance wouldn't be the worst thing ever.
The music in skate videos today is fine except when it isn't. JK. It all sucks. Nah, it feels like occasionally bands I really dig a lot have been popping up in videos. I do think using big time hits from the 1990s does not ever work and that seems to happen often, but it might be the music the skaters grew up and recall from a young age. You can always count on FA using sloppy cover songs, too.
