First off the best soltech shoe ever made was the sal 23. I bought the ishod before the new one and found it terrible and had to buy an emergency pair of half cabs to keep skating. I live in Austin and never seen a pair of ASICS at a park or skate spot. I have seen many consolidated boards in the wild in my day while living in North Carolina. I’ve bought several Etnies over the last decade and they all skated great. Early Etnies were terrible cardboard shoes. I stopped skating “skate shoes” for years in the post Natas Etnies period. Patrick is the biggest voice of reason on most of the pods but especially this episode. Air max 95’s are the best model and they skated good too. I had the forest green ones 3 shoes in a row when they dropped and my wife looks hot in her white 95’s. I find myself disagreeing a lot with Templeton on almost every episode but he does remind me of a lot of guys our age of a certain genre of skater I never really rode around with. No hate though. Respect to anyone who rides and cares about the culture. DC makes some really ugly shoes and what sucks is the ugliest ones are the most comfortable and the better looking ones are stiff and hurt my feet. Buzenitz (def spelled that wrong) ate the best adidas I’ve skated. Wrapping up soletech needs to keep the OG sal 23 on deck permanently. Easily the best looking skate shoe of all time alongside the half cab. Keep rocking out and don’t add or subtract anyone from the lineup if possible. The Maddie episodes were rough for me cuz she’s so much younger at least in years on the board that it hurt. She seemed really cool and I had fun watching her clips but she just didn’t know any history and seemed to have really region specific knowledge. Said I was wrapping up and kept talking. Stoners could definitely spice up the Olympics. Ishod is killing it. Peace

The MC Raps look decent enough. I'd probably wear them. Although I think I like éS and Emerica better. I always assume all the shoe companies use roughly the same factories.

Something they could do is make some new models that are based off designs of older shoes rather than do reissues.

I get what Nike is going for with the Ishod 2, but it's not really my thing. I thought the shoes resemble some of the DCs that Jason mentioned, which were probably inspired by Nike to begin with.
