This week, Ryal Lay is stoked on skateparks without fences and little plaza parks.
Mike is stoked on emerging from transcription purgatory and publishing his Quartersnacks piece, Name Dropping, a nice day, and John Shannahan's halfcab flip.
Jason is stoked on Venture Trucks, Beltway “Whistle”, and the “What Had Happened Was” podcast with Dante Ross.
Templeton is stoked on his cat Jasper (RIP), selling a piece at the Paper Cuts 2 art show put on by the Pacific Northwest Collage Collective, and the t-shirt Templeton designed is here.

That was a good episode. Nice to get some insight from Ryan on the ins and outs of pro skateboarding.
I really dig Welcome's graphics and videos so I was concerned something was wrong over there, but it is understandable for Ryan to want to do something different. I don't ride shaped boards, but I buy their t-shirts. Fetish is one of my favorite videos of the last few years.
I need to finish watching the There video. The few parts I saw were good. It's cool they are getting distro from Deluxe now. I watched a bit of the Violet video. I liked it, but I didn't care for the skating. It's too much jump down something that looks to be on private property and then either crash into a wall or fall in the street. It's as if they found a way to make the Zero formula of roll up/do trick down a handrail/roll off into grass worse. All the security confrontations are uncomfortable to watch. I get it is part of going out skating, but I can't deal with seeing it. It's too stressful.
