"No offense to those dudes, but some ledges just need a little bit of wax if you want to be able to do tricks on them." - Bobby from Thrasher, July 2014.
I always like Bobby's videos. His welcome to Venture part was great. His approach to skating is very much in the style of Dan Drehobl, although on street. Just go skate, do the tricks, and something good will happen. Don't worry about all the minutia.
If it's a surprise or somewhat of a surprise, long tricks are cool. I definitely agree with a case by case basis otherwise. The trick has to occur naturally, it can't be an intentional thing specifically highlighting the distance. Who is doing it also matters.
That Emerica am vid was good.
Good to see the Timberwolves make the playoffs. I wish they'd ditch the play-in. There is no need to prolong the season needlessly for teams that are only going to lose in the first round of the playoffs. Minnesota deserves to play in a proper series with a couple games at home.
