The big problem is that Thrasher is the last mag standing. They have to be everything to everybody now and that's maybe not an ideal position to be in.

Yuto has plenty of time to grow. Somebody on Twitter said he made a nice commercial whereas Mark put in work. Somebody also tweeted that it was good to see Dennis Busenitz in Flora to show what a real SOTY looks like. Nobody likes anything.

David Gonzalez's sponsors went all in with the ads the year he won.

Suciu nailed it with the music picks. I think I like the Habitat part the best, even if it maybe wasn't the strongest of the batch.

Old Alva pro John "Murf" Murphy has a degree in economics from Rutgers. He turned pro right after graduating so it wasn't something where he went back to college at later on in life.

I believe Tyler Bledsoe and Collin Provost won Year's Best Am from the Skateboard Mag, too. That award never really took off. Big Brother was probably the only other mag that would've had the personality to create a credible award.
