I suppose we are far beyond the point of simply unplugging the internet to make the world better.

I've had that same notion that skateboarding is too overwhelming to get into for a beginner. I'm not even sure if I would skate today if I hadn't started in the 80s and rolled with it the whole time since.

Photosynthesis is such a classic that any leftovers are always going to have an appeal.

Alien was treading in some weird X-Files waters in the late 90s before they rebooted. What's really fascinating is that they only vaguely dabbled with stock UFO/alien imagery up until the mid 90s. Something is much radder if you have the word alien in your name and completely avoid using any outer space type stuff.

Timecode is cool in its own way somehow. Now that we know the assorted backstories, we know it could have been better or different. Timecode might benefit from being in a time when there still wasn't an overload of skate content. Scott Conklin's part is one of my favorites ever, even though it admittedly isn't much. Kirk's part is unwatchable and I've never figured out his appeal.

I'm a big fan of bands like Turing Machine and Maserati so I instantly dug the Cinematographer Project part. I see how people wouldn't like it. It's a rather intense and vaguely apocalyptic edit.
