Vapors
Continuing with teh Big Push participants East Skateboards has a trailer for their upcoming video Vapors as well as a nice park clip.
Death in the boardroom...
Well, I read the Big Push issue of Document Magazine so I've been checking out the teams involved. Death Skatebaords is working on a new video and it will be called Escape From The Boardroom. That's what I'd call my video if I could ever get myself out of the boardroom.
Landscaper
When a board company makes a clip its usually of a higher quality than yoru run of the mill kids in the midwest filming each other clip. Landscape skatebaords from the UK has just such a high quality clip on their front page.

DIY
I've always wanted to build a ledge and the DIY Forums at Skaters For Public Skateparks is a great resource for building your own spots
More midwest
I've been posting a lot of stuff from the mid west lately. Here's another one. This one is from Milford Media who doesn't have a camera anymore so he just draws pictures now.
Skate Flicks
While wandering around on flickr I stumbled upon a nice set of skate photos from P. Bunyon. Hopefully I can come up with some footy from these guys...
Filming Crazy
Can someone please send me the new Chill Magazine with the DVD in it whenever it comes out? The DVD, Fliming Crazy, will be in issue 8 and I have no way of getting a French magazine here in the states.

Not Quite the Good Life
The Good Life is the follow up to the underground hit “Dango” from Westside Skateshop. It is basically a mockery of the term “the good life”, as it shows a life far from what most people would describe as glamorous. Linked from haveboard

Ams are better
I've been thinking that Ams are better than Pros. As evidence I offer you this clip from the Am Getting Paid Contest. Brought to us by our favorite Canadians at Street Riot

Feeling Nostalgic
The new Consolidated Trailer makes me yern for the days when I would go on epic skate trips. I stay pretty local now and just read The Skateboard Mag. Take a look around the consolidated site there are a few fun little videos like this one.

The world could be a better place if everyone thought like this
I tend to think that most furnature is skatable but this guy is making furniture that is intended to be skated. Skateboarding Sucks doesn't like it but I'm running out of spots.
DC in BC
Why was this footage of the DC team in vancouver not on the DC Films website? If it wasn't for Street Riot I wouldn't have even known about it.
Circa today
There is a new Circa site and they have a nice video ad for Jon Allie's new shoe. Link from The Mag.
PBS Skate show
It looks like PBS is throwing their hat in the ring with the Skate Park Review Show. It looks pretty boring but hopefully this is a sign of what's to come.

Really Satisfies
I just found out about the Snickers Day In The City and the trailer looks sick. Too bad us Americans won't ever get to see it. Very cool concept though. I expect it would end up something like Transworld's Cinematographer.
An interesting web experience
I was reading the Mike Rusczyk interview in Tha Mag yesterday and they mentioned his website which I remember having a nice clip of him and his friends skating but there was no footy to be had on today's trip to the site. There si still some fun stuff like the Barcelona photo gallery.
Black Attack
There is a new Black Label on the horizon and you can see all four trailers on this page of the Black Label website.

In case of emergency...
I love Scrabble so I was very excited to see that I can now take it with me where ever I go and challenge anyone anytime with this one page emergency scrabble game. Lifehacker keeps me informed with all kinds of goodies like this.
More Monkey
The new issue of Monkey Say is out and I have to say it isn't their best. Still it's worth a peek since it's free and all.

Hope
I haven't heard anything about 1st & Hope in a while. I wonder what's up. The trailer looks great though. In case you where wondering the Malloy brothers make surf videos.
French class
The European magazines always look so much better to me. I like seeing different spots and crazy archetecture in the background. Chill Magazine is in French so all I can do is look at the pretty pictures. That's enough for most of you out there anyway. Click on Le Skateboard for photos and there are a few clips in the Les Goodies section.

Things that make you go hmmmmm...
Portacope is a portable grinding surface that can be broken down into sections and easily transported by hand, backpack or vehicle. I wonder if this actually works...
I don't know what's up with this font color thing...
Does this seem familar?
Sometimes girlfriends and skateboarding just don't mix as illustrated in this clip that Skate Arazona pointed me towards.

Richmond
Josh Swyers from Richmond is the monthly sponser me video on Emerica's website. He's got some "interesting" tricks as well as some serious hammers. Hat tip to the hot crew.
Ohio or not
I have always liked SkateOhio but they have been slacking a little bit lately. They just updated the site with 2 new montages. Hamster has some good skating from Ohio and other places. And a park montage with a bit of footage from the DC skate plaza.
Semi Automatic
Automatic magazine is one of those free magazines you can get at the local skate shop. It appears to be more of a west coast thing so for east coasters you can check out the magazine online.

Off subject
I get to see a lot of different videos at my job. Some of the best videos out there are MOuntain bike videos and nobody does them like Freeride Entertainment. The trailer for their new film, Unchained, is sick! Check the guy doing a 360 flip on a bike!!! Cable cams and helecopter shots is the way to go. Skate videos suck.

smashed
I got hit by a car today so I am running late with everything and trying to get work done. Probably won't post anything today. I'm fine so don't worry.

Austin Collins
I think Austin Collens is a filmer or somethign cause his website (which isn't really finished) has TONS of footage on it. You can reach the video directory here. Matt Dryer's sponser me video is pretty gnarly.

Carolino Love
Santa Cruz has a new website and there is a nice selection of footage from some of their riders. The Alex Carolino footage is a definite highlight.
Ramp Champ
No suprise, Kyle Berard won Volcom's Sausage Fest Mimi ramp contest over the weekend. From the scores it looks liek he destroyed his competition.

Burn the city
MOre online zine goodness
That last post got me thinking abotu how Lakai has those sweet catalogs that have interviews and stuff. I think they just put out a new one (Holiday '05) which has Marc Johnson and Scott Johnston interviews and plenty of photos. The site is in Flash so I can't link you directly to the catalog. Just go to the site and click on zine down at the bottom and select Holiday '05 adn enjoy the chocolaty goodness.
Worked
The new issue (7) of Worked Magazine is out. It is an online magazine so no need to rush out to the news stand or anything like that.

What a great concept. A town in England called Stoke On Trent is building a mega skatepark but they also have skate paths. There's footy on Sidewalk's website.

Remember when Birdhouse was Birdhouse Projects? Well they dropped the projects part a long time ago and they have a nice little video on their site of some park skating. Just look over in the lower righthand corner and you'll see it.

Transworld
I just subscribed to Transworld for $3.25. Not a bad deal. I signed up at magazinevalues.com and then was able to get the low subscription rate. I am sure I will be gettign a ton of spam for signing up but oh well that's why I have a spam box on my e-mail. Without video my posts kind fo suck. I am workign on fixing the problem...
Element Europe
So Quicktime is still not working so I can't vouch for the goodness of the Element Europe trailer but I'll bet it's better than the one for Elementality.
Slacking
Sorry for the lack of updates but Quicktime has been all messed up on my computer so I haven't been able to watch anything in the past few days.

On an unrelated note...
I just watched the trailer for Touch The Sound directed by Thomas Riedelsheimer who also directed Rivers and Tides which was awesome! Touch The Sound is a documentary about a world class drummer who is also def. Crazy!
Vans Downtown Showdown
Transworld has some footage of the Vans Downtown Showdown. I have to say I am a little bit disapointed in the obsticles. I was expecting everythign to look like real street. Maybe they should have called Berra.
Edit: Vans has some more footage of the event
Edit: Vans has some more footage of the event
