The Dickies video is about the best you're going to get from a major company in 2024. The titles were top notch. Overall, I think the music was OK, nothing special, but nothing egregiously terrible either. The Glen Campbell song did not work. I thought Jake Hayes was really good and maybe got lost in the shuffle.
Peak Jaime Thomas could've had a Freebird scored part. I think he would've known better than to attempt such a move. Some of those nondescript indie rock or cold wave song parts really do register with me a lot.
Does Dickies have any women on their team? Allysha Le was in a team photo in early 2023 and Ruby Lilley listed them as a sponsor for the Olympics, but the video was all dudes.
I've never liked the name Dickies and the clothes always look odd to me.
Jim Greco was on Dickies in 2012. I imagine they'll stick with skateboarding to some extent. Vincent Alvarez has been on the team for at least that long. They've posting skate content for years. I've never watched much of it, but if you browse the YouTube, it goes back.
