Alien Workshop and Habitat also handle Fred Gall's Metal, as far as I know. They have to be connected still because Frankie Spears was wearing Habitat shirts in his scream part. I think Alien has had more buzz in round three, if Tum Yeto was round two. I imagine Habitat has a fanbase that hasn't really gone away. I need to watch the video. I guess I still like Habitat, but sometimes their videos are dry.
I'd like to see some new skater owned shoe brands with some good cupsoles.
I guess relaunching the vintage 90s styles didn't exactly work for DC. People were complaining about how expensive the shoes were, which means they probably were not selling.
So many companies across so many industries would probably still be kicking it today if they had kept private instead of willingly selling to investors for more capital.
Honestly that Krux had a team for 30 years is something amazing in itself.
FA feels tired. Maybe they really are indie sleaze. Thanks to the power of social media you can coin a term for an era you missed out well after the fact and it will stick. Hockey looks way better at this point.
I kind of think the late 90s hodgepodge of mall punk/Warped Tour/JNCO stuff is going to come back more over the relative clean 94/95 look. Nobody gives a shit anymore about anything so it is a total free for all.
The Cody Chapman part was great. I liked the Limo video, too. I need to check out Smell The River. I keep forgetting about that one.
