I've seen a lot of possible designs for the Norfolk skatepark but this one seems to be pretty legit although nothing like any of the plans shown at the meetings. Supposedly Grindline will be coming through to do some specialty work on the park. There is a lot to be excited about this design. It is by far the best I've seen to date. I am a bit disappointed that none of my designs made it in and there won't be (as far as I can see) a bank where you can grind then pop into the bank. Oh well....

Norfolk Park Design?
I've seen a lot of possible designs for the Norfolk skatepark but this one seems to be pretty legit although nothing like any of the plans shown at the meetings. Supposedly Grindline will be coming through to do some specialty work on the park. There is a lot to be excited about this design. It is by far the best I've seen to date. Didn't they use your idea of grind steps placed between two banks? Look at your bottom left.

I only understand about 33.3% of this diagram. What the hell is a LUV SEAT or a FUN BOX COMBO?

a luv seat is the seat that would be in a pool in the deep end. personally i think it would be nice if they seperated the the bowl/snakerun thing apart from the street plaza stuff. just causes problems.... i took my kids by today. they have done some leveling and adding fill to begin the shapes... sweet....
Yeah. Norfolk gets this sick shit and Portsmouth gets the crap! It's bullshit!
oh poor poor Portsmouth..it could definitely be worse..you could be Richmond and not have a decent skatepark in less than hour's travel time...boo-hoo Portsmouth...
