As I wrote last week, Bradan's part was lifeless. In the interest of fairness, I need to watch it again.
I like how Dakota and Leo are out in the van driving around looking for spots. I think that CJ Collins kid is all grown up and has some extra potential going forward. Toy Machine has a few new t-shirts with older graphics that I've been wearing a lot lately. You have to be aware of the present day and also sharp enough to know what trends to follow vs. what trends are for the younger generations.
Alexis' part was really good. He had a shoe colorway/collection entity from DC. I also haven't found much background on SK8MAFIA and Dan. It took me a while to even figure out he owned it. Dan rode for EVOL in the 90s.
Don't they do a run of the Sal's every couple of years on one of the Sole Tech brands? It's sort of lost the excitement. Even the Anti-Hero guys were wearing Sals in the 90s. Sole Tech has tried to bring back Sheep, but it's never gone anywhere. I think the 2008 recession nixed the Sheep return. They probably should make that happen, I guess.
I had one pair each of the first two Duffs shoes in college. They were good, even if the names were campy. Dukes always seemed like a cowboy themed afterthought brand.
I'd like to see Vita come back. Their ads and shoes look good in retrospect. Or maybe when HUF was making cupsoles. That was like the last of the vaguely skater owned shoe brands.
