That was a technically fascinating episode. You can tell who is really into the footwear game by when the pro takes the factory tour in a foreign land. It's also interesting how well known some skaters are outside of skateboarding by virtue of riding for the big name shoe companies and the following those brands have by the masses.

Great episode. There was an interesting comment that insinuated that if a pro was not fully involved in the design of the shoe then it wouldn't be a success - with one of history's most successful skate shoes The D3 as a reference. The D3 is of course a bit of a dog, but it is widely reported that Tiago's first NB shoe was already designed when he signed - that shoe was also a huge commercial success. I have heard of several others. Thanks for the great ep and hats off to the adi crew for such candid converations.
