I only skimmed the rules article the first time and it didn't make sense. It was better after a proper reading.

I can never tell what a board is like until it is set up with trucks and wheels. Hence, my fondness for numbers. There aren't any skate shops close to me per se so I don't get the hands on experience. That one time when I had a shop to go to, I would still measure.

I'm happy when other people are wearing headphones at the park. It means I don't have to talk to them. I can't skate with headphones since I grew up in the age of Walkmans that didn't fit in your pocket plus I like to hear the sound of the board. I'm amused by whatever rock the skate dads will play, even if it is torture.

Weren't Heath Kirchart and Jeremy Klein big fans of fancy steaks?

Utz makes some fine potato chips. I don't really eat snacks any more, but I'll grab a bag of their chips when I do.

I was most impressed that Griffin skated in Telfords. I wanted that shoe to be good. It wasn't. They were too snug and padded in the heel, too thin in the toes. It stinks because it looks like a shoe I would like that comes in some decent colors.

I feel we're forgetting a whole bunch of Seattle skaters. I'm kind of drawing a blank, too.
