I also saw Tyshawn's part before getting the mag. It's much better that way. I dig how hard he pushes for his switch tricks.
I will sometimes notice when the footage pairs up with a trick that ran in print a while ago. There's a gap ollie by Emile Laurent that was in Thrasher from October 2021 that was in the new Polar video. I now realize October 2021 is well within the time frame of video production, but it seems like a freaking eternity ago with how strange time is these days.
Girl used a different Ned's Atomic Dustbin song in a recent video. I cannot recall what video it was, but I think the song was "Kill Your Television". Generally bands have more than one song so you can pay tribute to an older video by using the same artist and not repeating a song.
My sleeper pick is John Shanahan. I'm partial to Nora and after watching Denim Car a couple of times, Gilbert.
