I think Austyn just likes Australia.

I miss HUF shoes. They had a good team model with a cupsole as well as the HUF II pro.

I'm all about Jessup. I used to use Black Magic, but was having some problems with that and switched to Jessup. I haven't found any reason to change. I've used Mob maybe once or twice and didn't care for it.

I use a fresh blade every time and file the edges down with a wrench. Grip wears out so I don't bother sanding it. I use a big nail to punch out the holes for the bolts. I keep a very thin line horizontal line in front of the back truck bolts. No graphics are allowed to show.

I buy a pack of the rectangular razor blades every so often. Yes, it does feel weird buying them.

I always get a bubble or a crease, usually where the kick is. You'd think after 35 years of doing this, I would know how to put grip on.

Spray painted or hand drawn graphics are fine. Graphic griptape is not fine. I agree that Shake Junt has sadly been normalized.

Sebo Walker is or was selling hand painted graphic grip tape.
