I never kept up with the Atlantic Drift projects because there's just too much to keep track of. They get an A for using Cluster for the new Tom Knox part. I liked it.
I've pondered how cold is too cold to skate for a while now. My conclusion is that temperature doesn't matter as much. Wind, sun, and precipitation are much bigger factors. I believe humidity and barometric pressure are also relevant, but I haven't figured that out yet. I was fine skating in the 20s last winter. No wind is maybe the biggest element. They skate every day in California so I see no reason to not do that in NY.
Also for cold weather skating, you aren't going to be out there long and it helps to be some degree of competent on board. This way you can bang out a few tricks, have fun, and feel good about yourself in the freezing cold. Learning to skate in the cold is asking for misery. I don't bother with much special gear - a couple layers and a sweatshirt, heavier jeans. Hat and gloves obviously. Dark colors are good because if it is sunny, you'll be warmer.
Is this the same Front or was there another one?

Justin, those Atlantic Drift episodes are worth going back to, especially the Russia one. MIke just confirmed that the Fred Gall Front is the same as his Front Gear.
