I'm happy Breana is pro. You could see how much she progressed from getting on Girl in the Vans mini documentary video on her. The Thrasher cover is gnarly.

I think an overlooked moment as to when Crailtap began to go downhill was when they started caving to fan requests and made boards out of Hershel's Greatest Misses. Posting silly graphics is one thing, making them is another.

Also their boards got weird. The paint would flake off in big chunks super easily. This was somewhere around 2008. I always rode Brian Anderson boards because those were the one 8" x 32" they made and after that started to happen, I switched to other companies.

It kind of stinks that Raven is lumped in with the whole Trunk Boys thing because he rips. Although I get the inkling that he doesn't always make smart life choices. An interesting point to ponder is that somewhere down the road there will be a group of current skaters who are going to be nostalgic for the Trunk Boys days in the same way people reminisce over Video Days.

Megan used to contribute stuff to Andy Jenkin's 'zines and assorted art projects from time to time back in the early 2000s. She came across as very responsible and grown up in contrast to the skateboard world.

"I remember Ben Sanchez calling and being, like, "Hey, man, I had a great time but I'm just calling to say I'm going to do this next thing," and we never wanted to suggest to anyone that it's time to move on." - Rick Howard, Thrasher, July 2017
