Design Input Day Tomorrow

Local skaters should chill tonight so they can make it to the Design Input Day for the Norfolk Skatepark. Its a Northside Middle School from 9-11AM.

Northwest Tour

They're calling this tour across Vancouver, Montana, and North Dakota Northwest tour. I think of Washington and Oregon as the Northwest. Either way, dudes are ripping.

Design Input Day Reminder

Don't forget about the design input day for the Norfolk Skatepark. Its this Saturday at Northside Middle School. Word on the street is that the Rob Dyrdek Plaza Foundation is involved, so hopefully that means we'll be getting a good park.

Blue Tile Lounge Promo

There had been some computer problems over at the Blue Tile Lounge, but they are fixed now and this long promo is what they made.

Vladik Sholz

Vladik Sholz got the ender part in a German video whose name I forget. Anyway, watch that shit.

Kronika Video Magazine

Straight outta Hungary comes Kronik Video Magazine. Peep the trailer for issue 3.

Foda Se Trailer

Usually I don't post trailers with so many slams and quick cuts, but this Foda Se trailer got me kinda psyched.

SEC 2 Full Video

There is some seriously good shredding in SEC 2 which you can download in full, so get on it.

Hoodlum Promo

While I was watching this Hoodlum promo I got inspired to finally edit a new montage then it was over and I wasn't inspired anymore.

Rainbow Session

That thing looks fun. Single spot montages can be cool if done right like this one.

Beautiful Losers at the Naro

For Hampton Roads locals, the AIGA screening of Beautiful Losers is likely the only opportunity you'll have to see it on the big screen. I've watched the doc ten plus times and it's still good every time.

Time: Doors 8:00, Show 8:15pm
Location: Naro Expanded Cinema, 1507 Colley Ave, Norfolk, VA

Tickets: Tickets will be available online and at the door.

Lone Star Montage #3

It seems we've had something from Texas every week for a while now. This week is Lone Star Skate's third montage.

Weekend Bonus: Midwest Movement

This video is like three songs worth of street and park skating all over the midwest. The spot form the screen grab looks so fun.

New Peace Wall Park Montage

It's been a long wait, but Peace Wall Park has a new montage and it's a banger.

IAIS New Montage

IAIS Skate Media has been keeping steady with the updates since the release of Mi-Rage. This new montage is just one example of what they do.

Norfolk Skatepark Design Input Day

Local skaters should mark their calender for November 22nd, the Design input day for the new skatepark. Personally I want all street style stuff. No bowls, no tranny at all. I'm gonna be pushing for a bank to ledge type thing seen in the screen grab below. You should all vote for that too.

Don't Sleep On The East Throwaways #12

I can't believe these guys have made twelve throwaway montages already. I guess they didn't see Markovich's part in Art Bars.

Sean Weikel

I had forgotten that Irvine Sucks was posting up all the Bone Storm parts. Sean Weikel is the latest part and it's a gnarly one.

Gustav Tønnesen

Here is an impressive bit of street footage staring Gustav Tønnesen. I'm not a fan of willy grinds, but this guy makes them look not so bad.

Weekend Bonus: World of Birds

I like it when people name their montages instead of just numbering them. Take this World of Birds montage for example.

Weekend Bonus: Northwest HD

Maybe one day I'll get to live in the Northwest, but I doubt I'll ever be able to skate like these dudes.

Dave Weaver Throwaways

All the footage that won't be in Dave Weaver's part in the upcoming Sunday video is in this Throwaway Part.

Deet Media Mess Around

Always good stuff form Deet Media even if they claim it's just mess around stuff.

Sunday Spotlight #8

I'm a little late discovering Platinum Plus's Sunday Spotlight #8. These NY dudes get down.

New Skate Kitchen Montage

Last time I talked to Joe Bressler he gave me the impression that The Skate Kitchen wouldn't get updated much then I came across this new montage. You can't keep a good site down.

Video Game Montage

Dave Carulli created this montage incorporating video game graphics. I'd say its a well thought out and executed idea. I'd be stoked to see more stuff like this. Via: Platinum Seagulls.

Apples & Oranges

There's lots to like about Apples & Oranges including the fact that you can watch the whole video online.

Joe Krok

IAIS Skate Media put the entire Mi-Rage video online. Joe Krok holds down the ender. See the rest of the video on the IAIS blog.

Kingpinz Montage

Deet Media posted up a sick Kingpinz montage the other day. Texas dudes are ripping.

Haters Montage

I've got no hate from Irvine Sucks' new Haters Montage.

Lonestar Montage #2

Lots of fun looking spots in montage #2 from Lone Star Skate.

Cake

Somewhere in North Carolina these guys made a video called Cake. Here is the trailer.

Albert Nyberg

Albert Nyberg does some seriously nutty stuff in this his latest video part.

Hong Kong Garden Montage

It's been a while since I've posted anything from Coffee & Pie Oh My. Although it has some foggy vignetting on it, the Hong Kong Garden montage is top notch in my opinion.

Prestige Throwaways

Colin Clark posts up another Prestige throwaway montage over at Tackyworld.

Earth From Above

I haven't posted any non-skate stuff in a while, so I thought I'd throw this out there for everyone to take a look at. Aerial photography and environmentalism seem to go hand in hand. We had William Garnett in the 50's then David Maisel starting in the 80's. Most recently Yann Arthus-Bertrand's Earth From Above series. See 39 of the 150 images here on the Boston Globe's excellent Big Picture photo blog. The full exhibit is hitting 120 international cities and New York will host the images starting in May of 2009. Via: Chris Glass.

Broke Tape Issue 6

Broke Tape does it again with Issue 6. See how New Mexico does it.

Traight Clownin' 3 is looking like it's gonna be a gnarly video. peep the trailer.

Windows & Doorways Leftovers

Here are some leftovers from The Skate Kitchen's Windows & Doorways. I recommend getting the DVD which you can order from here.

Tyler Van Duyn and Steven Gritz

The Denver Shop welcomes Tyler Van Duyn and Steven Gritz to the team. I miss the old days when the Denver Shop made monthly montages.

Love & Focus

Love & Focus is a video coming out of the Charlotte scene.

If you had trouble with yesterday's post try again with the new instructions, hopefully that works out for everyone.

Suffolk Skatepark Survey

The city of Suffolk, VA is conducting a survey about skateparks. Go fill it out and let them know that a street plaza is the way to go. Thanks to Shane G for the heads up.

Shred Love Montage

Trailer grinds, grinding wood, huge tuck knees, and raw California street skating. It's the new Shred Love Montage. OK, so refreshing doesn't work but if you put your cursor in the address bar then hit enter it should reload the page then you can watch the video. If not, then go to the main page then Gallery then Monday Matinee then click on Watch For Subliminal Messages. Or try this direct link to the Quicktime file. Fuck...

Division East Throwaway

Davy Marrero just put together a throwaway montage for Division East.
