  1. The Lakai footage is old for sure. I noticed the shoes, too. He was wearing Lakai in his Thrasher interview from a few years back. He said he was looking for a shoe sponsor.

Doesn't Torey do Grizzly Grip? He should've some business experience.

I guess Thank You sold. I always thought the name was stupid.

I'm still not convinced Plan B actually sells skateboards. Maybe they are getting a SOTY bump? I imagine Joslin sold more decks for Storied than he does for Plan B.

Jason Adams back on Black Label after a good bit on enjoi and Elephant. He might have gone back twice, now that I think about it.

I think I have thoughts on archiving stuff, but I spaced out on what they were. I get irked whenever people don't put a date on things and/or cite sources. That's the most important part of a successful archive.

The Skate Park of Tampa still has their skater database, which is a great thing to have.

Thrasher is all online, albeit somewhat crappy scans, up until 2000 or 2001.

Skate Media Nerd has been scanning a ton of full interviews from The Skateboard Mag. Sk8 FYI is scanning everything, too.

It's Windsor For The Derby, although they might be too obscure to register one way or the other. If it was the credits, then Deer Tick.

The true test of a skate video shazaam would be if it recognizes Fluf, Don't Mean Maybe, and a few other skater bands.

Westgate skating to Explosions In The Sky in Made is gold. I don't even like that band a lot and it was an ideal pairing. I watched the part again last night and everything syncs up impeccably with the song. Only ding on Made is the Flaming Lips. Emerica picked Explosions/Mogwai/Earthless/No Age/etc. and there are far worse horses you could be hitched to for music selections.
