Obviously this was taped in front of a live studio audience before Tom Schaar's part dropped.
What about Greyson Fletcher? He's done the most for the Mag out of anybody, switched to Birdhouse, has a family connection with Thrasher, and has a decent getting sober story.
Joslin winning while riding for zombie Lakai would be wild. He'd be getting SOTY on career legacy along the lines of AVE.
The late one-footers are cool, but they aren't a trick that should be done very often. Skatepark demos is one thing, but otherwise leave the people wanting more by doing it less. Steve Schneer knew what he was doing with rationing out the ho-ho.
I guess my CJ Collins push for SOTY never materialized for 2025. Maybe next year.
I'm the least picky person ever about spoilers. You can seriously tell me the surprise ending or who wins the game and it doesn't bug me. Gimme the plot twist in advance that nobody saw coming. Sometimes it is better to know what is ahead because you piece together the process or the parts to see how they arrive at that point. I'm amazed at the gap between when the photo runs and when the video comes out. The photos for Simon Bannerot's weird flyout wallride on that brick bank/wall ran in Thrasher a couple years before the video was released this year. I doubt that spoiled any of the surprise of the trick or lessened its impact.
