  1. Small skateparks would be so ideal for small towns. A couple banks or quarter, ledges, flat space, flat bars, whatever. . . affordable, useful, low maintenance. Never gonna happen, but we can dream.

    Obviously weather is big factor for using wood, but wooden ramps are great.

    Shared spaces maybe aren't ideal. Think about what goes in parks. You don't want basketball, baseball, and tennis all mixed together on one plot of pavement. That singular use mindset is common and perhaps not wrong.

    I've noticed more parents telling their kids to stay off the ramps at the skatepark. There's a playground right next to the park here. I also heard a mom saying she likes taking her kid to the skatepark because of the social interactions, learning how to share and take turns, stuff like that.

    Did Joslin get kicked off Etnies? Or the modern day kickoff, where his contract didn't get renewed? I've been reading Thrashers only in the month that matches the month on the spine so I'm kind of out of the loop on stuff.
