I've said this before that Baker is like a classic rock or alternative radio station. They might not play all your favorite tunes, but there will always be a few things you like regardless of your personal tastes.

Elissa Steamer turns 49 this year. I don't even like the Violent Femmes and that song worked so perfectly.

Ryan Fabry's A1 part was really good. Kris Markovich had a great debut in that A1 video, too. I think it was his first full part.

It's gotta be a toss up between Duffy and PJ Ladd for best ever rookie part, where they came from out of nowhere to blow minds.

I'd maybe say Dane Brady had a very strong and subtle rookie debut in Polar's I like it here inside my mind.

Marlins have won two World Series, over Cleveland in 1997 and over the Yankees in 2003. Definitely for the hardcore fans. I don't even think management cares about the team. They made the playoffs a couple years ago. Marlins had Kim Ng, the first woman general manager in baseball, but she quit due to issues with the team's direction.

I always thought Andrew wore a Braves hat because of the letter A for Andrew. I'll only rep the teams I like. The Baker music selections make sense hearing about his listening habits. You have to figure Greco, Ellington, Neckface, and Beagle have a fair amount of input. There are definitely a couple strikeouts with tunes in all their videos.

Browse Vert Is Dead for obscure truck brands. I've been meaning to put together another week of funky wheel holders. That's funny that Patrick said Orions were horrible because they were the supposed truck of choice for all the Girl and LA skaters in the middle 1990s regardless of who their truck sponsor was.

Rookie probably had better art than Zoo. Rookie lost their building due to collateral damage after 9/11 and that was the end of the road for them. I'd like to think they would be doing great if they were still around, but the company also was very specific to the late 1990s arty Slap aesthetic and I don't know if that holds up for modern times.
