New Shoes From Dill, Rowan, and GT plus Skate Events. October 29, 2023. Mostly Skateboarding Podcast.

Maddie is stoked on the Beatrice x FA womens drop, having the first weekend in weeks with no plans, and the new Tom Knox shoe.
Templeton is stoked on seeing the Wu-Tang show with Nas and De La Soul.

Yes, it would have been nice to get a couple tricks from Dill, even him carving around a bowl or pushing down the street would have been fine.

The race in the Nike video was too similar to some corny Powell Peralta skit. I need to rewatch it for Grant's skating.

The Rowan video felt incohesive and disjointed. The skating was great, but it didn't fit together. The music was lackluster and absent. I was kind of surprised Greg Hunt was involved. I guess he tried something different. The shoes reminded me of those bulky late 1990s Vans. Not really a fan.

Tom's ollie photo worked so much better as a physical magazine cover instead of the video or online.

Jake Donnelly was an occasional regular at my local park.

Jamestown Skateboard Products did their annual King of the Ramp bowl contest and party this last weekend. I really should've gone, but I never have the time to go to stuff. I also get weird about Halloween weekend and stay in.
