I used to love Man Or Astro-Man, so I was stoked on Miki Tähtinen's song choice for his video part. It probably should have just been a one song part though. The quicktiem was all kinds of wonky for me, so here it is on Vimeo along with other parts from the ITÄ video.
This is the third montage from Deja Vu...
I'm still on my years old Japanese clip kick with the trailer for Dialogue Between Insiders from 2007. They also have a new video that just came out called Lenz but the trailer is only downloadable and YouTubable, so check that if you're OK with those formats.
Consolidated's Maru and some homies kill this sick bank in Japan.
After watching the video and reading You Will Soon's review of Extremely Sorry I decided that Quarter Snacks or someone else needs to re-edit Extremely Sorry like they did for Mind Field.
Someone in Portsmouth is giving away around 40 cinder blocks. Someone get on that and build something. Then let me know where it is. I'd get on this myself but don't have a truck or a place to build, but I know someone out there does. If you don't live around here, check your local Craigslist and see if someone is giving away some building supplies.
Here is a new montage out of New Jersey. If anyone has some more info, let us know in the comments.
Stay Stacking in a new website with a new montage with footage that was supposed to be in soem video but now isn't.
I'm still on the Japan kick and super stoked on all the interesting spots in Rua Magazine which you can look at online.
Japan's Strush Wheels has a really rad trailer for their video Collective Improvisation. I guess it's about a year old, but still got me pretty stoked.
It's been a while since I posted any non-skate stuff here, so here is something I'm pretty excited about. I'm a big Michael Pollen fan, so I'm psyched that his book The Botany Of Desire has been made into a two hour PBS documentary premiering October 28th on PBS. Click here to check the trailer and find out when it is playing in your area.
I guess this is from 2005, but the Expression Clothing Barcelona montage is new to me and worth a watch.
It seems kinda silly to me that guys in Europe would come to the States to skate, but the guys from 5th District did just that and came back with this NYC montage.
The Irvine Sucks crew headed up to San Francisco instead of finishing their website re-design, but they made a montage so it's OK.
The Denver Shop comes through with a nice random montage.
Jon Wolf's Barcelona montage is half slow mo skating and half cutaways.
The Plus dudes spent a weekend in Tampa skating parks and street and came back with this montage.
All I know is that this guy's name is George Kargopoltsev and he is skating mostly in Moscow. His video part shows a good grasp of all the latest lipslide to whatever and grind/slide to manual variations. If you want the full 1280x720 HD quality you can watch that here.
