Continuing with teh Big Push participants East Skateboards has a trailer for their upcoming video Vapors as well as a nice park clip.

Death in the boardroom...

Well, I read the Big Push issue of Document Magazine so I've been checking out the teams involved. Death Skatebaords is working on a new video and it will be called Escape From The Boardroom. That's what I'd call my video if I could ever get myself out of the boardroom.

When a board company makes a clip its usually of a higher quality than yoru run of the mill kids in the midwest filming each other clip. Landscape skatebaords from the UK has just such a high quality clip on their front page.

Peep This pointed out this sick promo for Flatline Skateboards new video project.

I randomly went to the Circle website and after many months of waiting we have been rewarded with a new issue of their HTML zine. I love this format so much.

I've always wanted to build a ledge and the DIY Forums at Skaters For Public Skateparks is a great resource for building your own spots

More midwest

I've been posting a lot of stuff from the mid west lately. Here's another one. This one is from Milford Media who doesn't have a camera anymore so he just draws pictures now.

Skate Flicks

While wandering around on flickr I stumbled upon a nice set of skate photos from P. Bunyon. Hopefully I can come up with some footy from these guys...

Filming Crazy

Can someone please send me the new Chill Magazine with the DVD in it whenever it comes out? The DVD, Fliming Crazy, will be in issue 8 and I have no way of getting a French magazine here in the states.

He's a writer not a filmer

He may not be a filmer but Rob Brink came through with the goods from the Goofy V. Regular contest this weekend. From Haveboard from The Hot Crew

Queens City

The guys at Charlotte Skate have 2 nice montages on their Video page.

The Kinked Skateboard Media guys in Michigan are ripping!

Moo Moo Be You

I've always wanted to skate in Arizona because of clips like the Be You Promo. Which I found on Cowtown's website.

On the road again

15 events in 15 cities in 6 weeks. That's what the Hometown Hero Tour is about and they have footage.

We break for breaks

If you have some time (10-15 min) then you can learn the comprehensive history of the Amen Break from this mini doc. From Coudal...

Emerica The Beautiful

I love how Emerica shows us a new sponser-me video every month. This time it is DJ Fort. I'd like to see who else is ripping in Missori so if you know where I can see some hot Missori skate action let me know in the comments. Thanks.

Not Quite the Good Life

The Good Life is the follow up to the underground hit “Dango” from Westside Skateshop. It is basically a mockery of the term “the good life”, as it shows a life far from what most people would describe as glamorous. Linked from haveboard

Push it real good

I'm usually on top of the Blueprint news but I read on the Skateboard Rumors forum that the Big Push Blueprint edit was up on their site. So enjoy that one over the weekend and hopefull do some skating.

Crashing makes me lazy

I was in the middle of posting about FA Skates when Firefox crashed so I'll just tell you to check out all the epic clips on their site. Tons of fun to be had.

Death from down under

It's been a busy day for me so I haven't been lookign at skate stuff for you guys so here's one I had saved. Steve Gourlay is an Australian skate photographer with a website.

Something sucks

The Freebord sucks.

Hot Links

The Hot Crew has MostlySkateboarding on their list of RSS feeds. So check them out and add us both to your RSS feed reader thingies.

No nudity, just good skating

There is a really nice clip on Skate NC right now that features some of my favorite NC rippers like Justin Brock and Mic Swett.

What more could you ask for?

Skateboarding and full frontal nudity! Division East knows how to satisfy the hungry internet skate junkies with a clip that has everything you could ever want from a short video clip.

My favorite Euro video magazine has just put out it's latest issue and you can download it from the Puzzle website for free. It's pretty much the ultimate in fre internet skate video enjoyment. I am sick today so this is it for right now.

The footage is dark but you can get the basic idea that the Blueprint team rips. War of the Roses

Ellington footy

There is a nice little Ellington commercial over at the Deluxe website. Enjoy...

Ams are better

I've been thinking that Ams are better than Pros. As evidence I offer you this clip from the Am Getting Paid Contest. Brought to us by our favorite Canadians at Street Riot

So I've been doing this blog for a few months now and I was hoping I could hear what all you guys think. Where are you from? What are you stoked on? What's whack? What's up with your website? You scene? Do my typos annoy you? Let em know! Thanks.

Feeling Nostalgic

The new Consolidated Trailer makes me yern for the days when I would go on epic skate trips. I stay pretty local now and just read The Skateboard Mag. Take a look around the consolidated site there are a few fun little videos like this one.

Bubblin' in Dublin

I was lurking around on the Skate Perception forums and found a nice little montage from Dublin Skate called Dirty Dublin.

Hardly Working

Here's your monthly reminder to check out the new Worked eMagazine. God I love technology.

Mostly sunny

I have been pretty busy today so I'll just remind everyone that the Forecast video is going to be out real soon. Check the trailer to get hyped.

This is an entertaining little short film about winners. Coudal sent me tot he Wexley site and I found there was plenty of interesting stuff to look at.

The world could be a better place if everyone thought like this

I tend to think that most furnature is skatable but this guy is making furniture that is intended to be skated. Skateboarding Sucks doesn't like it but I'm running out of spots.

DC in BC

Why was this footage of the DC team in vancouver not on the DC Films website? If it wasn't for Street Riot I wouldn't have even known about it.

Is it wicked...

There's some wicked new skate footy over at Wicked Skate Footy.

Circa today

There is a new Circa site and they have a nice video ad for Jon Allie's new shoe. Link from The Mag.

PBS Skate show

It looks like PBS is throwing their hat in the ring with the Skate Park Review Show. It looks pretty boring but hopefully this is a sign of what's to come.

Really Satisfies

I just found out about the Snickers Day In The City and the trailer looks sick. Too bad us Americans won't ever get to see it. Very cool concept though. I expect it would end up something like Transworld's Cinematographer.

An interesting web experience

I was reading the Mike Rusczyk interview in Tha Mag yesterday and they mentioned his website which I remember having a nice clip of him and his friends skating but there was no footy to be had on today's trip to the site. There si still some fun stuff like the Barcelona photo gallery.

Black Attack

There is a new Black Label on the horizon and you can see all four trailers on this page of the Black Label website.

Monday, October 10, 2005

North Carolina is liek the skate website mecca and Eyes Like Static is the latest site to come on teh scene with 3 nice montages already. I hope they can keep it up. All things NOrth Carolina see SkateNC.

Extra Extra

Active has some sick bonus footy from Baker 3 I still haven't seen the video but I managed to find a few parts bootleged on the internet... In other Baker news Braydon Szafranski is on Pig. Skateboard Rumors always keeps me well informed.

I've always thought the Red Dragons where kind of silly but their Park looks really fun. There's plenty of footage in this clip.

Thursday, October 06, 2005

Hippie ripping

The guys at Yellow Brand skateboards have a pretty gnarly montage that I found via Peep This

In case of emergency...

I love Scrabble so I was very excited to see that I can now take it with me where ever I go and challenge anyone anytime with this one page emergency scrabble game. Lifehacker keeps me informed with all kinds of goodies like this.

More Monkey

The new issue of Monkey Say is out and I have to say it isn't their best. Still it's worth a peek since it's free and all.

I haven't heard anything about 1st & Hope in a while. I wonder what's up. The trailer looks great though. In case you where wondering the Malloy brothers make surf videos.

French class

The European magazines always look so much better to me. I like seeing different spots and crazy archetecture in the background. Chill Magazine is in French so all I can do is look at the pretty pictures. That's enough for most of you out there anyway. Click on Le Skateboard for photos and there are a few clips in the Les Goodies section.

Things that make you go hmmmmm...

Portacope is a portable grinding surface that can be broken down into sections and easily transported by hand, backpack or vehicle. I wonder if this actually works...

I don't know what's up with this font color thing...

You can see Peter Romendetta's full video part from Roll Forever on Deluxe's website.

Does this seem familar?

Sometimes girlfriends and skateboarding just don't mix as illustrated in this clip that Skate Arazona pointed me towards.
